The meeting place, where students, advisers, institutions, and partners come together.
Time-bound group programs — induction, mentoring, employer partnerships, leadership cohorts. Built for the work of being together, governed end-to-end like everything else on PROVUS.
Discuss a cohort or initiative"Can we run a bounded program through this?"
You have a cohort of people, a structured program, and a need for governance you can stand behind. PROVUS Summit is where that program lives — with all the participants, advisers, and institutions in one place, and a record of every decision made along the way.
Three things at once. Each one serving the others.
Summit doesn't replace your existing infrastructure. It governs the surface where people meet around a bounded program — and connects to the other volumes when it needs to.
A catalog
Students browse approved programs and services — across institutions, advisers, and partners. Cohort opportunities appear here too, with clear capacity, timing, and entry requirements.
A meeting place
When a cohort starts, Summit hosts the shared space — discussion, materials, scheduled events, advisers, sponsors, all in one governed surface.
A governance layer
Every decision made about the cohort — who's admitted, who's advised them, what's been delivered — is recorded and auditable, just like the rest of PROVUS.
Five patterns we're built for. Tell us about a sixth.
Most partnerships fall into one of these patterns. If yours doesn't, talk to us — Summit is designed to handle bounded programs in general, not just the ones below.
Cohort sponsorship
An employer or government department sponsors a defined group of students through a structured program — bursaries, mentorship, supported pathway, paid placement.
e.g. a department of education funding 50 regional students through a teaching pathway, with mentoring from established teachers across three universities.
Advisory initiative
An industry body coordinates a panel of practitioners — vetted, governed, and made available to students at multiple institutions as part of a sector-wide initiative.
e.g. a peak body for nursing coordinating senior practitioners to mentor final-year students across all health-training institutions in a state.
Employer-led development cohort
An employer runs an internal development cohort using PROVUS as the governance and collaboration layer — under their own institutional governance, configured to their needs.
e.g. a 200-person professional services firm running a leadership development cohort across three offices, with internal mentors and external coaches.
Cross-sector collaboration
Multiple institutions coordinate around a shared cohort — students from different universities, advisers from different industries, a common program structure.
e.g. a STEM pipeline cohort drawing students from three universities, mentors from local industry, and shared content from a research body.
Time-bound advisory program
A defined-duration advisory or mentoring offering with a known start, structure, and end. Participants know what they're committing to; advisers know the scope.
e.g. a six-month career-transition program for mid-career professionals, with fortnightly sessions, peer cohorts, and structured outcomes.
Something else
Your partnership doesn't fit one of the five above? Tell us about it. Summit's underlying capability is governed coordination of a bounded program — the form factor can vary.
e.g. things we haven't thought of, but you have.
A bounded model. That's the whole point.
Summit is specifically not a few things that partners often expect when they hear "cohort platform." Worth being clear:
- Not a job board. Summit doesn't list jobs. Employer partnerships through Summit are about developing people, not recruiting them. If the conversation is "we want to source candidates," that's not what Summit does.
- Not an ATS. Summit doesn't track applicants, score candidates, or manage hiring pipelines. Your existing systems do that. Summit governs the development program, not the recruitment process.
- Not a community platform. Summit is for bounded programs with a beginning, a structure, and an end. It's not a perpetual community space. If your need is "ongoing networking without structure," that's not what Summit does.
Discuss a cohort or initiative.
A member of the PROVUS team will be in touch within two business days to discuss what a bounded partnership could look like. We'll take what you describe as the starting point — there's no template, no preset proposal.
