The least data, held the shortest time.
PROVUS doesn't track, profile, or sell. The platform collects only what's necessary to govern the relationships it exists to govern — and access to that data is bounded by role, not by convenience.
Posture now, policy at launch.
PROVUS is in active development. The full privacy policy — covering data collected, lawful basis, retention, third parties, your rights under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, and how to make a complaint — is published before the September 2026 launch.
This page describes the posture the platform is being built to. It's not a substitute for the policy. It's a description of the design constraints the policy will reflect.
Five commitments. Built into the platform, not bolted on.
- No ad tracking. No third-party analytics that profile users. What we measure, we measure for ourselves, in aggregate, with no individual fingerprinting.
- No selling, no sharing for marketing. Your data is not a product. It is not licensed, syndicated, or transferred to advertisers, brokers, or partners outside the governance relationship it was given for.
- Minimum necessary data. We collect what the platform needs to do its job. Optional fields are optional. If a field's purpose isn't clear, ask us — we'll either explain it or remove it.
- Role-bounded access. An adviser sees what an adviser needs to see. An institution sees what an institution governs. A student sees their own engagements. Access is enforced by the platform, not by policy.
- Every critical decision is auditable. Approvals, suspensions, and access events leave a trace. You can ask what's recorded about you and we can tell you.
Questions, requests, or a complaint.
Email privacy@provus.com.au. A person reads every message and responds within two business days. Once the platform is live, the full policy describes the formal request and complaint processes; until then, an email is the right channel.
If you submitted a contact form through this site, the data goes to a member of the PROVUS team — not to a marketing list, not to a CRM that's also used for outbound campaigns. We hold it for as long as the conversation is active and remove it on request.
